Data Privacy

Why do we need a consent form?

The law on Data Protection changed on 25 May 2018 and the new law gives individuals more rights and protection over how their personal data is used by organisations, including All Saints’ Lightwater.

For us to comply with these new regulations we need your consent to keep any of your personal data. Your privacy is important to us and we want to communicate with you in an appropriate way. In order for you to give us that permission it is necessary for you to complete a Consent Form.  If you have not received a form electronically they are available here, from the Church porch or the Parish Office.

It is important to stress that if you do not grant consent we will not be able to use your personal data in any way for Church communications. You can find out more about how we use your data from our Privacy Notice here, our Electoral Roll Privacy Notice here, and also available from the Parish Office.
