Mothers Union

Mothers’ Union is an international Christian charity which seeks to support families worldwide.  It is one of the largest Christian women’s organisations in the world, with over 4 million members in 83 countries.  However you don’t need to be married, a mother or even a woman! – everyone is welcome.     The Society supports marriage and family life and projects including parenting courses, work in prisons, holidays for families in need, literacy & development and health projects, both in this country and worldwide.

The branch at All Saints’ meets on the first Monday of each month at 2.00 pm in All Saints’ Church Hall and has a variety of speakers, outings and social events.  It raises funds and offers practical help for those in need, such as support for women’s refuges in our area through collecting toiletries and other goods.

If anyone would like to come along to our meetings, particularly those from local churches who don’t have a Mothers’ Union branch, we would be delighted to see them. Visitors are always welcome at any of our meetings.
