Sunday Morning

What to expect

Mum and BoysIf you come to a service or any other activity at All Saints’, you can expect a warm welcome and usually something to eat or drink! We run a range of services. At all of them we aim to be friendly and not too formal or stuffy.

Our church family includes newborn babies, people in their 90s and all ages and stages of life in between, which reflects the diverse population of Lightwater village. Some have lived in the village for 50 years; others have moved in very recently.

Older people coffeeOur church building is cosy with good heating and lighting. We have a great audio-visual system with a big screen at the front, so that we can project words for songs, videos and presentations. The church seats 80 comfortably but we can fit 150 in the building at our busiest times. After our services we normally have refreshments in our church hall. We serve Fairtrade tea and coffee, usually with biscuits and sometimes homemade cake.

The church building is open every day, normally from 9am until dusk. Do call in if you’re nearby – it’s a lovely space to stop, pray or just take some time out.

Our Parish Office, by the hall adjacent to the church, is open every weekday 9am–12.30pm for any enquiries about the church or the hall, and we offer photocopying at a very reasonable rate.
